Netball Victoria's Commitment to Child Safety

Every person in the netball community has a responsibility to understand their role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people in our care.

Netball Victoria is committed to promoting and protecting the rights of children and preventing abuse from occurring by fostering a culture where children feel safe and empowered.

We also seek to ensure the cultural safety of First Nations children, children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds and children with a disability.

Child Safety in Netball Policy

The MWNNC adopts the Netball Victoria Child Safety in Netball Policy.

Any complaint that relates to child safety and falls within the scope this policy, will be dealt with in accordance with this policy.

Child Safety Code of Conduct

The MWNNC adopts the Netball Victoria Child Safety Code of Conduct.

This Code is to be followed at all time by all Members of our Club.

Resources available for Young People (13-18)

The MWNNC believes that young people have a unique insight into their lives, needs and the world around them.  It is their right to be heard on matters affecting them, and have the opportunity to contribute to our Club.
